The intervention consisted in the upgrading of the square of 10.000 square meters, divided into liturgical and civic sphere, giving clearness and poise characters, decorum and elegance formal details, a consistent choice of materials, urban furniture and lighting.

The Studio chose a multi-colored natural stone paving: granite, porphyry and cobblestones, both in liturgical spaces and in civic ones in order to give a long lasting and vibrant aesthetic effect. The connection between religious and civic sphere is in the harmonic expression of the multi-colored paving design, in the lighting and street furniture, giving a coherent atmosphere of rewarding and meditative visual sensations.
