New built family house in Vaprio d’Adda
2008
Vaprio d’Adda (MI)
The intervention consisted in new construction of a family house in Vaprio d’Adda.
The house develops on two floors above ground and a basement. On the ground floor there is the living area connected to the porch, while on the first floor there is the sleeping area. The residence is served by double garage on the ground floor. The project design has focused on maintaining an architectural style respecting the local tradition and the use of quality fittings, such as the use of split stone of Credaro in the porch or wooden ceilings. Thanks to prior energy audit it has been possible to design an energy-efficient building. There are also a consistent perimeter insulation of walls and roof covering, windows with low emissive thermal insulating glass, underfloor heating system with radiant panels operated with condensing boiler, renewable energies such as solar thermal and photovoltaic. The whole plant system is managed by the home automation system, even remote controllable, in order to make the building extremely efficient.
